Unfortunately, I did not get selected for the 4 day Jacksonville, FL trip or the two positions for the 4 day Hartford, CT trip - even if I had had only 4 days left on duty (I've got 5 days), I don't think I would have been selected...each of those jobs went to people with more seniority than me. Nor did I get selected for the couch. But that's okay.
I'll enjoy myself at my Church potluck dinner tonight, I'll sleep in again tomorrow, but there won't be any 4 day jobs for me to bid on during the aggressive bidding tomorrow. So it's time to plant those bulbs in my front planter!
